Never Fear Shadows originated several years ago around founder & initiator Michiel Milbou. After obtaining a masters degree in light, sound and editing from HRITCS (Higher National Institute for Cultural Dissemination) in Brussels, he started working as a light specialist. Soon he recognized a demand for light & video design that goes well beyond the beaten tracks and started his own company,  MMLD.  Listening to a client’s needs, fulfilling a whole range of services surrounding light design, MMLD rapidly became one of the pre-eminent lighting design companies in Belgium and abroad.

In order to set the level even higher, Michiel Milbou brought together a group of like-minded professionals and Never Fear Shadows was born. In the past years, they have done commissions for all the big belgian networks (VTM, één, Canvas, VIER, RTBF, RTL) and designed lighting and video plots for all the major shows in Belgium. Also internationally their name is well known in countries like Holland, France, Germany, Poland, Greece, Spain, Bulgaria, Kuwait, Singapore and recently China.
